Good little in door market can get good range of local produced foods and veg, as well as fresh fish meats and cheeses.
All in all a good place to look around and take a break from all that tacky promenade stuff.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (MrsTwi…)Blackpool, Grossbritannien66116. Nov. 2008
Blackpool's only town centre market. This is a mixed market, with food and clothing stalls together, along with cafés and make up.
Still well used by locals as there is a butcherery stall, fishmongers, cheese stall, fruit and veg, cooked meats and a wholefood and nut stall.
Open 6 days a week, but does open on Sundays during the Illuminations (Sept & Oct).
Some of the older stalls have now closed, but there is a new piercing and jewellery stall opened and a used book exchange.
Worth a visit, even if it's just for a browse and a latte at one of the cafés.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (unixgi…)Livingston, Grossbritannien560320. Nov. 2008
My family go to Blackpool every year and we always head here. Although some of the stalls come and go, the butchers, the fruit and veg stall, the bakers and the whole foods stall (dried fruit and nuts) have remained there for years. With the closure of the large indoor market of the front this year (the name escapes me but it had JJB sports above it), many of the smaller stall holders from there have scattered to other markets including this one with a new make up stall appearing this year.
The best buys from this market are anything from the bakery (the scones are brilliant), sausages or bacon from the butchers (the tomato sausages are fantastic) and anything from the fruit and veg stall.
All the stall holders are friendly and helpful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (ilhari…)Blackpool, Grossbritannien34130. Mai 2009
A market situated right in the middle of Blackpool, for all thouse who love a good rummage rather than the dreaded supermarkets. There are butchers bakers and fishmongers, nice cafes, sweetshops, make up stall, card stall, jewellery and lots more. The staff change from time to time with the produce, but they are very helpful, very friendly and the sweetshop is amazing, all the old family favourites there to buy a quarter of. Only problem is your favourite stall disappearing suddenly sometimes!
