This is such a fabulous brasserie in Paris. We've come here several years ago. Back again it did not disappoint, and exceeded our expectations, which were high to begin with.
Amazing traditional, but also new and creative dishes! The portion sizes are very generous and of high quality.
This is the perfect place to visit when in Paris to get a true 'French' experience, this is a place that is also frequented by many locals.
Extremely friendly and helpful service. There when you need it, but also leaving you to savor your dishes.
The atmosphere feels as Paris/French as it gets, with indoor and outdoor seating.

We were worried when the onion soup arrived .. tasted like it was made from beef bouillon cubes, with little cheese, lots of bread, and coarsely cut onions. But the plat du jour, beef bourguignon, turned us around. The beef was tender and plentiful and the sauce very savory. The frog legs were delicious too,

New Years Day 2023! Walking from St. Louis Cathedral, we stumbled upon this very nice brasserie. I finally had my soupe à l'oignon. Delish! Husband has a cheeseburger with French cheese.

All the food was perfect and it was so nice looking and delicious. The servers were super kind and the food can soit quick, the deserts were amazing, I had the crème brûlée and it was magical, not to sweet either.

The initial staff member was kind that sat me. The woman waitress seemed annoyed that I was American. I ordered the fish dish. It was fishy and the sauce for the ratatouille was less than spectacular. I took one bite and sat for 20 minutes before they checked on me. Although I had sat for 20 minutes displeased, they did not offer to make me anything else and they charged me the whole cost of the fish dish. They are rude to Americans and they appear to cook substandard food. The prices do not match the quality.

The service I received here was outstanding. The gentleman who served me December 12 during lunch was courteous, concise, attentive, and highly respectful to me (a non-speaker for the French language).

Not only did I receive remarkable service, but the omelette I had was amazing. Easily the best I have had and I am no stranger to food. I had a double espresso to compliment my meal and that too was bold as tasty.

Easily ranks #1 amongst the eateries I've tried during my stay in Paris.

Food was fine overall. Our waiter was an older gentleman with greying hair whose service was fine however manners were shameful.

Come payment time he was cold and suddenly acted like he couldn't understand that I wanted 15 back from my 100. Even with writing 15 on the receipt, he acted like he couldn't understand. Until I accepted a 10 instead which he of course understood.

That would have of course infringed upon a bigger tip. With my intended tip he was getting a 21% total tip, which is overly fair in here. (Even not considering I did not enjoy something that I ordered and only ate one bite, there was zero compassion and in fact instead, he was greedy. Not liking the food is my fault as I ordered something I knew was risque.)


I would not recommend this restaurant due to a waiter purposely trying take advantage of a patron. That's something we shouldn't support.


La nourriture était bonne dans l'ensemble. Notre serveur était un monsieur plus âgé aux cheveux grisonnants dont le service était bon mais les manières étaient honteuses.

Au moment du paiement, il avait froid et a soudainement agi comme s'il ne pouvait pas comprendre que je voulais récupérer 15 sur mes 100. Même en écrivant 15 sur le reçu, il a agi comme s'il ne pouvait pas comprendre. Jusqu'à ce que j'accepte un 10 à la place, ce qu'il a bien sûr compris.

Cela aurait bien sûr enfreint un pourboire plus important. Avec mon pourboire prévu, il recevait un pourboire total de 21%, ce qui est trop juste ici. (Même sans considérer que je n'ai pas apprécié quelque chose que j'ai commandé et que je n'ai mangé qu'une bouchée, il n'y avait aucune compassion et en fait, il était gourmand. Ne pas aimer la nourriture est de ma faute car j'ai commandé quelque chose que je savais risqué.)


Je ne recommanderais pas ce restaurant car un serveur essaie exprès de profiter d'un client. C'est quelque chose que nous ne devrions pas soutenir.

The veal medallions were delicious and the service spoke great english and was very kind. There is a large canopy that covers you if it's raining.

Food was amazing!! The meat and cheese board was extremely refreshing and the salmon and snails are our recommendation! We didn't need a reservation or to wait for a table which was an added bonus.
