Fast Canvas Prints

I got my print as ordered, had to chase it up but was given a straight forward & honest answer to why and you can't ask fairer than that.
I think what everyone has to realise, we are getting a quality canvas for under a tenner! RELAX people =D

Awful Awful Awful Ordered well before Christmas and 2 months on.. No goods. I fortunately paid via PayPal and managed to get everything I paid back. They don't answer emails, they don't respond to phone calls, the voicemail is either faulty or full (still, you have to pay for the call which always lasts 5mins) and their website is slow. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. There are other reputable companies out there who may charge more, but you get a much better and trusted service from them. Again.. AVOID FAST CANVAS PRINTS!!!!

I ordered 3 vouchers for VHS/DVD conversion from Mightydeals via GIFTS AND GADGETS which I am told is another company operated by PETER TOYE. I sent 18hrs of home movies (IRREPLACEABLE) to them on the 7/11/12 and have not received any confirmation they have them or that they are being processed despite emailling and trying to call them numerous times.
Their customer service is non exisitant!
I have been in contact with Mightydeals customer support which is also pretty poor, not replying to emails and eventually answering there phones after 15-20min wait to get the same response time & time again that they will try and call them and will give my a call back with an update; but never do!
I see via this site, complaints going back over a year, yet these DEALS companies are still promoting & endorsing this company.
I too have filled in a Watchdog form and am awaiting a reply.

I bought vouchers for the canvas prints from Living Social. I ordered 3 prints from Fast Canvas prints on the 11th November. I have paid an extra £10 each for the special coasting on the prints and the postage. I have not received the prints and have emailed them twice yet only had an automated response. I have tried calling them on their expensive 0844 number. The message says they are only open between 9 and 1 Mon-Fri. Today, Tuesday, I called at 9.15 and the message said "they are very busy and it may take a long time to answer your call, they suggest you send an email!)
I gave up after 10 minutes.
I have asked Living Social for a refund and am still waiting to hear.
After reading all these comments, I will also contact trading standards.

Same experience for me I'm afraid, and many others if their facebook page and twitter account is anything to go by.
Now operating under Your Image On Canvas, and hooking people in via the voucher websites.
I won't bore you with the details of my horrible experience with them, but since then I have:
- Contacted their Facebook page, and will continue to do so for months if I need to, to ensure others don't encounter the same experience.
- As above with their twitter account, and that of the company director Peter Toye (@Pete_Toye).
- Have contacted who I paid via Moneybookers/Skrill. I have passed all detals of the matter to them and suggested they should not be facilitating his little scam.
- Have forwarded all information to Consumer Direct, now under Citizens Advice. They have received a number of complaints, and will be taking the matter forward.
- Have provided all information to bbc watchdog that this has been a recurring scam over at least 2 years, and specifically targets people looking for Christmas presents (and disappoints them), means it's something which could interest them.
- Have contacted the voucher company, who should take some level of responsibility for not doing their homework. They endorsed this company by selling their voucher, and as such should take some of the blame for giving some legitimacy to a scam artist.
Unfortunately there is little that can be done in terms of cancelling, because these are personal items. Mine is actually useless as it has a large, obvious mark in the print. Yet because the company isn't registered (its under Toye Graphics Limited), there's no real contact details (the director address is his family home but he does not live there), it's difficult to get much further through mail.
Thankfully, I live nearby, so I intend to see what the family and Pete himself have to say about it, face to face.
